Isabelle Steger - Pure Softness In Geometric Designs

Its a rainy Sunday in Austin and I decided to go back to reading old magazines.
And luckily I did cause I just met Isabelle Steger and her unique collection.

This Austrian designer born in 1984 did what so many find hard to achieve: make the clothes relevant not just the beauty under it.
She gave us pure softness in geometric designs with a strong social concept.
She presented an idea of unity and uniformity... " A nod to the humanity underneath the clothes"
I am very pleased with her lines and the implicit elegance of her clothes.

"Her Philosophy: Isabelle Steger relates to fashion in a socio-political context. By challenging common notions of beauty, she provides an aesthetical concept for all genders and ages opposed to the dominant discourse of the industry.
Besides the conceptual approach, the major focus lies on pattern making, high quality fabrics and accurate finishing."
